Printing and copiers
Every office runs at least one Sharp copier. The address is the same everywhere: printer.arpa, which resolves to the master unit at whichever office you are connected to.
Print from a phone or tablet
Both the Sharp and the Konica Minolta copiers have a free app that prints straight from your phone, using the same printer.arpa address.
See print from a phone or tablet for the setup steps, and for the reliable way to get MLS spec sheets out of a phone.
Install the driver on a computer
Pick your copier make and your operating system:
If you are not sure which copier your office has, look at the badge on the front of the machine, or call the helpdesk. You can also have Marco install it for you — the number is on the driver page.
The copier has locked up
- Check how wide the problem is. Is it only you, or is nobody in the office printing?
- Check the network. Can you open
printer.arpain a browser? If not, you are probably on the guest network — reconnect to the office Wi-Fi, or restart the computer. - Restart the copier. Power it fully off, wait ten seconds, power it back on.
- Find out what caused it. Open the job log at
https://printer.arpa/sysmgt_joblog_view.htmland turn on these columns: Computer Name, User Name, Login Name, Date, Pages, Filename, Machine Item Name. A single oversized job or an out-of-date driver is usually the cause.
If the machine is still stuck after a restart, call the helpdesk rather than pulling paper trays apart.
Order toner and drums
Toner is ordered per machine, so have the model number ready — it is on the badge or on the last page of the configuration report. Call the helpdesk with the model and the colour you need and we will place the order.
Toner is a consumable the company pays for. Do not buy it yourself and expense it without checking first.
Scan to email
Scans arrive from the copier at your @coldwellhomes.com address. If they are not arriving, check your spam folder first, then call the helpdesk — it is usually the address book entry on the machine rather than your mailbox.
